Dear readers:
In accordance with the spirit of the document "Measures for the Handling of Overdue Return, Damage and Loss of Library Collection Documents of Shenzhen Technology University", in order to standardize and orderly manage literature resources, ensure the integrity and systematicness of literature resources, and safeguard the common interests of the entire school's teachers and students, the following regulations for book-related services will be implemented from this semester. The relevant charging items have been established and approved by the President's Office Meeting and the Party Committee Meeting at the end of 2023.

Overdue Fine |
0.1 yuan/book/day, and the maximum overdue fine does not exceed 20 yuan per book;Before the overdue fine is paid off, the borrowing authority of books will be suspended; if it is overdue for more than 200 days, in addition to paying the overdue fine, it is also necessary to complete 3 hours of library volunteer service before the borrowing authority of books can be opened. |

Book Compensation |
1. Self-purchased book compensation: if a hardcover book is compensated with a paperback book, the price difference part needs to be made up, and an additional hardcover binding fee of 15 yuan per book will be paid. If the price of the paperback book cannot be determined, the price difference part will be calculated at 20% of the original price of the library's hardcover collection;2. Direct payment of compensation:(1) Minimum compensation limit: no less than 30 yuan per general book, and no less than 500 yuan per book published before 1949;(2) Single-volume book: compensate at 3 times the original price of the book;(3) Multi-volume book: compensate at 4 times the original price of the book;(4) Periodical and newspaper bound volume: compensate at 4 times the original price; |

If the literature has scattered pages, the spine is broken, the hardcover cover is broken, etc., and can be repaired, 50% of the literature will be compensated for the repair cost. If it cannot be repaired, it will be handled according to the compensation method. |
Explanation: The overdue fine has been implemented previously in announcements inside and outside the library,and the related fee is subject to system inquiry.
II. Payment Method:
The above items will be paid uniformly through the QR code atreception deskon the second floor of the library.
