The Library has activated the trial service for Scite (Smart Citation) database, welcome faculties and students to use and give us your feedback.
Scite (Smart Citation) is an industry-leading tool that excels in citation statements, literature discovery, and evaluation. Founded in 2018, scite is a Brooklyn-based innovation company that helps researchers to validate research papers, find answers and best-in-class colleagues; scite helps decision makers to validate their own research programs, their competitors and identify strategic partnerships & key opinion leaders.
Scite saves researchers vast amounts of time reading articles and protects researchers & companies against building their research on disputed or even rejected foundations losing tons/millions of dollars.
Function:
1. Smart Citations: Find information by searching across a mix of metadata (like titles & abstracts) as well as Citation Statements indexed from the full-text of research articles.
2. Dashboard: Build and manage collections of articles of interest and get aggregate insights, notifications, and more.
3. AI Assistant: Assistant by scite gives you the power of large language models and it is able to write a literature review with one click, and can give real references and locate the exact location of the references.
